“The energy, love and focus Nadia brings to her classes is inspirational”

Karen

Beginner’s courses, classes in yoga studios, workplaces, community centres, youth clubs, festival fields, hair salons, and on a city farm; Nadia has taught yoga in a lot of places!

Simplicity is at the heart of all of Nadia’s teaching. The biggest thing that drives her is finding ways to make yoga accessible so that it can help people practise it on their terms and utilise it to make sense of their lives

Once you’re on your mat, all you have to do is breath and move and practise checking in regularly to notice where you are and where you might want to go. A short while later, things will have shifted in some small way as they always do and we’ll feel better or have a deeper understanding of where we find ourselves. Job done!

Classes with Nadia are tailored to suit whoever comes, but generally include postural yoga which might be dynamic or more still depending on what’s best for the students and where their bodies (and minds) might be, as well as meditation and breathing techniques.

Corporate Classes

& Private Yoga

Aches, pains and work-related stress in your workplace sound familiar? Offering in-house yoga can be part of the solution.

Nadia has extensive experience in offering yoga for staff in offices and retail spaces. From 30 and 45 minute sessions to full-one hour classes, there are lots of options to suit every organisation.

Alternatively, private one-to-one sessions in the comfort of your home can be a great way to cultivate and maintain a personal practice with individual attention and guidance. Please
get in touch with Nadia to discuss options.

Class Descriptions

  • An energising class that involves moving from one posture to the next through a flowing sequence. You'll move from sun salutations, standing and seated postures into a meditative finishing sequence designed to rest the body and quieten the mind. While there is a formality to the practise which invites discipline, Nadia teaches it in an intimate, informal, accessible (and perhaps most importantly) fun way.

  • A class that involves moving from one posture to the next through a flowing Vinyasa sequence. You can decide to dial the energy up or down depending on where you’re at as there will always be options for you to choose what best suits you. The practice will end with a meditative finishing sequence designed to rest the body and quieten the mind.

  • This gently dynamic practice will involve moving from one posture to the next through a flowing sequence but doing so in a way that’s focussed on moving mindfully. Nadia will encourage you to continually check in with how you're feeling and to choose what best suits you. The practice will always end with a meditative finishing sequence designed to rest the body and quieten the mind.

  • Yin is a slow floor-based practise inspired by Chinese philosophy and medicine. Shapes are held for longer periods of time to calm the nervous system and invite stillness and meditation.

  • Yoga Nidra is a practise designed to relax and rest the body and bring a quiet clarity to the mind. Yoga Nidra means “Yoga Sleep”, but rather than falling asleep this practice is about exploring the edges between consciousness and unconsciousness that can make the experience feel more like “falling awake.”
